I am having 10 moulds made of my toy for my uni project and I have the option of,

polyurethane

or

fast cast

which is more like vinyl?? I am confused, I am told fast cast will be lighter but I am not sure which will be best.

Can anyone advise me?

Thanks

Stu

Most people use 2 part polyurethanes, and there are quite a selection. I use Smooth Ons Smoothcast 321, 305, and 326....and the Crystal clear. Polys take quite a beating. .....BUT, to get a bubble free casting you need a pressure pot. This forces the bubbles so small that you can't see them.
