Re: Dunnydex App
I don't have notifications built in at this point, I'll put that on the (growing) to-do list.

Re: Dunnydex App
Great work !!! LOVE IT !
.
If it's just a app that show all 3", 5", 8" and 20" dunnys produced. This will work for me.
Notifications of new releases and possible checklist of own/need would be cool. But I wouldn't try to build it into a toy collection solution like Trampt. Don't get me wrong, I like Tramp for the custom's and one off's as well as other platforms. Great work again man.
Oh and one more thing that I think will be a great added feature, is to have the ability to click on a specific design and rotate it to see all angles of toy, this will allow us to appreciate the art on each figure.
Much like Pokemon on Pokemon GO app.

Re: Dunnydex App
Haha, yes a full 360 would be rad, maybe someday!
I'll start adding in the 8 and 20's when I get some free time (uphill battle with all of the releases though). I'll look into a free notification service as well, since the app is free.
The checklist feature totally works (maybe not super apparent and I didn't include any instructions). Tap on a series, then you can either "force touch" a Dunny and swipe up to check/uncheck, or just tap the Dunny and flip the switch in the lower left.
Guru, anyone at HQ had a chance to check out the app?

Re: Dunnydex App
Actually got that Huck from a fellow boardie today which was great!
One suggestion I have (and only if others would want it as well) would be a compilation section of the ones you have marked that you have/own. That way you could see your entire collection in one place. Might be cool.
Just a thought. Great app... really love it!

Re: Dunnydex App
Maybe the app could cross-reference the artist when you click on his name, showing all his produced dunnys...

from SKET
"total disgrace, alot of artists have been screwed by mindstyle, this is a claim that can be backed up BIGTIME!. In fact we could write a book on it! I don't have a grudge cause my situation has been done n gone, but i know of many other HUNGRY people wanting to produce work who will never see what they so rightly deserve, payment and samples, and whatever mindstyle decides to do with your art...you will have no say or control"

Re: Dunnydex App
Yes! This is actually one of the first additions I want to get in there once I'm caught up adding Dunnys (I think I mentioned that in the first post). I would love to have additional artist bio/portfolio information available as well if I can track it all down.IgorVentura wrote:Maybe the app could cross-reference the artist when you click on his name, showing all his produced dunnys...

Re: Dunnydex App
Could there be a way to get a total number of dunnys in your collection as you add pieces? It looks great, btw.

Re: Dunnydex App
Downloaded this last week and looked through all the pages last night. Even in its simplest form as a reference list to the dunny's produced, this is a really good app and is very easy to use.
People will always have constructive feedback and criticism so keep up the good work!

Re: Dunnydex App
Thanks! This is totally an "as time allows" labor of love project, so I appreciate the positive feedback. I still need to add the 20" Dunnys, but I feel like after that I should be able to start adding in some of the features people have been requesting. So far there's only been one request that seems a little out of range, it wasn't a bad idea, just would be a LOT of work. That said, any requests are still totally welcome, I'm just happy people are digging itWhitts wrote:Downloaded this last week and looked through all the pages last night. Also, any (positive) reviews in the App Store would be appreciated as well!
I'm still kinda curious what KR thinks of the app, but haven't gotten any response from any of the channels I've tried reaching out through.

Re: Dunnydex App
Just released a quick update with a couple of requested features, adding push notifications (I'll do my best to keep them to a minimum
) and a count of everything you've checked off of your list (in the upper right of the Info screen, which may be a temporary location). Hopefully I'll have some more features coming soon...
Thanks!

Thanks!

Re: Dunnydex App
Absolutely loving this app. I recommend it to every collector I know as well as peeps at KR HQ. I know at least one person in the office besides me has it on their phone.
It would be neat if the data synched between iOS devices. Any chance to make that happen in the future?
Thanks for your labor of love. It is much appreciated!

Re: Dunnydex App
Thanks!
I believe if you have iCloud Drive enabled, and permission is granted to the Dunnydex app, it should share data between your devices. I haven't tested that since the initial release though
A bit behind adding updates, I'll try and get everything up there in the next week or so.
