There's actually a second Pikaiju in the works now, the idea came out of left field and just felt so right. Glad you guys like him!

That Stormtrooper is sweet. I want one (or an ROTS Clone Trooper version). :D

I'm not worthy!!!

Seriously drawl, if I lived in your neck of the woods, I'd be cleaning your brushes and stripping vinyl just for the opportunity to see how it's really done. But thanks all the same. :)

At least 1 more today, hopefully 2. Tried something very different with the paint on one of them, much more painterly, layering textures and I'm stupid happy so far about it.

As far as how long they take, it varies a lot, but generally it takes quite a while. Most of the time goes to sanding, which of course, is the least fun part.

Tried a little something different paint-wise on the yeti, I like the feel of it, definitely will be trying it again if it's appropriate for the piece. Didn't quite finish Chuckboy, had to take a friend to the doctor's unexpectedly.

I think the new paint app works really well for the Yeti. Give it that sort of been in the wild feel to me. Can't wait to see how it works on other pieces.

Awesome Yeti! Love the pointy "hair" that stick out from the dunny, and paint looks nice on this. Love the added Sherpa accessory. :D

The pointy hair pretty much came directly from your Tiger Dunny, with some Pikaiju mixed in there too I think. After the sculpt was done, I was thinking I probably had a subconscious influence from Betso's and Okkle's work as well. Wasn't trying to bite on their work, but they're 2 guys whose work I've admired for a long time, and I think there's probably a bit of "homage" in there. ;)

EDIT: Added the Chuckboy... I took my inspiration from this one from the backpack on the Chuckboy sculpt, which reminded me of a turntable. The wires going from the turntable to his glove allow him to do his cybernetic virtual scratching by just moving his hand in the air. (Although he does need a buddy to change records for him.)
