I just wanted to say that I'm glad everyone decided to join this trade, I was kinda worried about it.
With that, some of us (including myself) haven't posted a-lot of work... or what they have was their first attempts.
There are MANY naysayers about the quality of work that will arrive from this trade, and although there are no awards your peers will be judging you, and from some PM's I have it will be harshly.
I hope, or rather DEMAND quality work from everyone in this trade. I have gone through your works and talked to some of you. I have offered to BUY from some people in this trade before and work quality like Plastic Me's Munny or PET1's "character Map" is what you should be shooting for.
Your goal in this trade is to create something that
YOU would buy, and that should always be on your mind.
I worked on my MAD*L for the trade FOOOREVVER to get all the LED circuitry and sculpting to be top notch.. and that was REGULAR sculpey. and When Lysols Mad came in I was taken aback still. I created something I would buy, and in response I also got a top quality piece. So much so it currently has its own shelf!
Just remember, less is more dont overwork it. Dont try and cram every Idea you have into it, and dont be afraid to sketch everything on paper.
Some people wont need this, but if you need to bounce stuff off of me, IE critiques or questions then please do. I will see all the trades in the end anyway. I think discussion on works in progress helps tremendously. (Just do it in PM's NOT THIS THREAD!)
This thread already has 1000 views and is being watched not only by those IN the trade, but those outside it.
With that said, you have 28 Days to finish your Dunny, that is ample time for this no doubt. If you cannot produce, or feel your piece isnt up to par then please drop. No hard fealings at all. I would rather have a trade of 10 good pieces that everyone enjoys than disappointed artist who swear off these trades.
Lets have fun, I've already started mine going and may go another route altogether but hey I have A MONTH!

PS I wanted to ask those already involved if it would be best to go ahead and CLOSE the list.. We have a large list, and I could allow people on special circumstances, or if we have a majority agreement.. but for right now we have a pretty stellar crew..

ImageLet me just say that I've been one of those "naysayers" only because I've been around since the start of these Message Board Dunny trades and I have seen others try to start their own only to watch them fail. I won't name names but 2 people that have done this dropped off the planet and left the traders asking questions. I picked up the ball on 1 of them and then on a Fatcap trade as well. I just don't want to see this happen again. Another person that hosted a trade was accused of only doing so to "cherry pick" the best custom and fix the trade. I just hope that everyone's heart is in the right place.
I think 28 days is ample time to finish but always expect that as that date draws near some may need some extra time. Things do come up unexpected, especially a month down the road.
I see no need to cut the list short as you only posted about this 3 days ago and some people do have lives and don't check the boards every day. I say make it 1 week even and then at that time cut the list.
Now all that's left is to decide which Dunny to sacrifice. I think it'll be another Series 4 JLED.
