I didn't see a dedicated thread for anime, so I figured I'd start one up! I'm interested in hearing what everyone is into and what people's all time favorite shows are.

What I'm currently watching:

One Punch Man
Perfect Insider (just just started)
Haikyu!! (more of a show my wife watches and I'm forced to follow along lol)
Ace of the Diamond

All time favs:

Cowboy Bebop
Your Lie In April
Samurai X (Kenshin OVA)
Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood
Paranoia Agent
Samurai Champloo
Sound Euphonium!

Can you request any anime like Samurai Champloo or Afro Samurai? Like western culture inspired series?

I really like the aesthetics of most anime, but most storys are horrible, with all that filler episodes.
Cheers from Germany

I'm not into much anime, but I thought Akame Ga Kill was pretty good, especially the fight scene of Seryu vs Mine/Sheele.

Bunch of nerds ;)

...I'm also a nerd. Currently watching Hunter x Hunter 2011 right now, and in the past I've really enjoyed Steins;Gate, Code Grass and Shinsekai Yori and One Punch Man. Gintama and JoJo are both really up my street as well but I haven't finished them yet. I haven't seen a lot of the classics but Akira is definitely up there for me, along with Satoshi Kon's movies (Paprika, Tokyo Godfather).

I tend to like most anime I see but some stuff I just cannot get into. Saw Fist of the North Star last night and found it deeply odd and very unintentionally funny. Gotta love hokey 90s dubs :D
