Nothing371 wrote:Some pundit like Matthew Berry is going to make a strong argument for drafting Odell Beckham Jr first overall. It's scary to think he could actually go at the end of the first round.

Bell, Murray, Charles, Forte will go top four next year and then there will be a sprinkling of Lacy, Foster, and McCoy somewhere near the end of the first round. Lynch will be hard to rank again but will also be a first rounder if he somehow stays in Seattle. Antonio Brown will be the first WR off the board followed by Beckham, D Thomas, Jordy Nelson, and Dez Bryant.

Pretty much the usual suspects.

Adrian Peterson, Jimmy Graham, Drew Brees, and Peyton Manning are going to be the toughest players to rank next year. Also, lots of other early to mid round guys got old this year. This years WR class was amazing.
Oh man...It's like a crack sandwich! DELIIOUS!

I agree Breese and Manning will be hard to figure out. Manning made me early and killed me late last year. As always RB is a tough spot; I look at this like a swing year as the older guys are or could be nearing their shelf life and the young guys don't have the track record so you feel safe. From what I'm seeing AP, Bell, Murry, Lacy, Charles are the top dogs with Forte, Foster, McCoy being a tier or two down.

WR is super stacked and is Odell Beckem a 1st rounder? Such a small sample size....

Love the FF chatter!!! I'm signed back up!

Make it a $60 buy in so we can work with another $120 in the kitty?

2014
1st get $350, 2nd gets $150, 3rd gets $50 and winner of the Loser Bowl gets $50 was last year
2015
1st gets $420(always a nice number) the last $50 goes to points or Best record?

WR yards 1pt = 10 yards vs 1pt = 15?

+1 on $60 buy in

That's 2 for it, 0 opposed at this time.

I don't have a vote for the final payouts yet. We should probably figure out prizes when we know the size of the league. This year I am for paying Best Reg Season Record, Loser Bowl, 1st and 2nd.

+1 on the WR Scoring change back to 10yds = 1 point.

That's 2 for it, 0 opposed.

Are we doing 12 again this year? Or are we feeling froggy and jump back to 14?

I'm guessing Dabs has sent out invites to all of last years participants so Jump on it if you're up to the task of taking on Crushman, Ninja and the best of the best in FF :)

I was robbed last year! Literally and figuratively. The best team for weeks 1-15 isn't worth anything it would seem! anyways...

I vote 20% reg season winner, 20% most points reg. season, 40% first place, 20% second place. (I'd elminate the second place reward too but people don't seem to like that idea here)

I do 40/20/40 (Reg season winner/most points/1stPlace) in my leagues and it works great. It is possible for one manager to win all the money but it has never happened. The best managers are the ones that get paid. None of that consolation prize crap.

People who don't play this way always say "the Superbowl team should win it all" or "First place is all that matters" or something to that effect. buIIsh!t. This isn't real football it's fantasy. In vegas games and daily fantasy the only thing that matters is points. If no one played with the HANDICAP of head-to-head scoring, points would be all that matters.

People who play the best during weeks 1-14 need to get rewarded. You don't put 80% of the money weight on the lottery draw of who can win for weeks 15-16 among the four playoff teams. It's always the bad players that want to play the luck based money reward systems with the most handicaps and consolation prizes.

This is what gets my vote. 40% reg season, 20% points, 40% first place. Let's get the scoring settings and rules in place so people know what's up before the draft and there's no surprises. You want to put it all on first place again then get rid of the head-to-head.

Of course I'll go with whatever people want to do.
Good transactions: NaturalJoe, VapDee, Mhpgear1, Ryn, Dank82, Stacyjean, Danryan, Tweeder422, bla8, izzy, candycloud27, bltsports25, del730, homerj, JMDawg33, pghrobot, Techhuis, cm, DabCity2, glock325, Erroneous, normanjr, kitman34, Greggygreg, turdhole, Adultswim666, Nonegious, DrkFD3S, thermometer, Kingly Decay, w33zy16, jeanclaudeAdam

Great trades: Ghost, Tweeder422, mrxwormxsayz, dondaka, W.I.L.D., fdot, MiggaWhaat, AK4play, elias, Spenc, MattPower

Yeah lets th games begin! We only have 4 signed up!

As for the payouts, I would be ok with something like ($50 buy in times 12 = $600):

1st place (reg season) gets $50
Most points (reg season only) gets $50
1st place (playoffs) gets $300
2nd place (playoffs) gets $150
3rd place (playoffs) gets $50

Let's get people signed up and go over any rule/point changes ASAP!
