Re: An open letter from KR.

Funny really, My company started making toys last year and once the big outlay for the mould was paid for, to get a finished vinyl toy, shipped to the UK from Hong Kong, was very low. And that is for a 4 to 5 inch toy. Be@rbricks anyone? ;) Plus, we are a tiny company making, when compared to KR, mi...

Re: anybody know where to shop toys in Tokyo? help!

Why don't you try and grab yourself a copy of this: http://super7store.com/books/tokyo-underground-2.html

They list most shops of interest and have done all the leg work, so you don't have to.

All written in english, plus maps. well worth it.

That's just a difference in priorities in collecting then, but you can't blame Joe that you choose to collect as an investment. The way I've collected has changed a lot over the years but now I've settled on collecting what I love, regardless of investment or resale prices. And they are commissione...

But all the KFGU and the Ugly doll's they did, were spot on. Still some of my favourite vinyl pieces. You...

Re: Official Joe Ledbetter Thread (JLED)

I've not run into any sticking problems at all. It is though painted wood so because of the wood there are more paint imperfections and scratching than you would see on vinyl just because of the nature of the medium . I don't thing it takes anything at all away from the piece. It has much more a ha...

You can easily define "good art". The more you look at art, the more you have a natural sense of what's "good" and "not good". What people like and don't like is another thing. There is a lot of art that I don't like, but I know that it's good. You know something is go...

Shame it ain't the same price as the Nutter Also, how can KR put out the Bigfoot, "Forest Warlord" figure. 11inches tall, multiple colours and ltd to 50 pieces. For on $95. I know this is a KR exclusive and they probably didn't produce it. But it does show you the disparity. Not really a ...

I agree that it doesn't look like the stuff Kronk has been putting out with Kidrobot lately, but if you go back to 2009 this is exactly what Kronk's stuff looked like. That black dragon would look perfect next to a Nutter which came out in 2009. http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c311/SpankyStokes/T...
