Re: The Unofficial Official KAWS Toy Thread.

24k is ridiculous!!! These are prints!!! Wow I'm shocked people would consider paying 24k and not just buy OG works from other artist. I'm done collecting kaws, I was considering getting the set for an early Christmas gift, but at that price I'm just gonna buy the 48x48 Barry McGee canvas for sale ...

Re: What's up with Kaws!?

To me his art doesn't have nearly the originality or appeal to me as much as my favorites such as the Circus Posterus team, Ashley Wood, Andrew Bell, etc. I can appreciate Kaws for what it is though, a creative pop art piece that is one of the hottest things going in the vinyl toy industry. This ty...

One thing I learned on this board EVERYBODY wants the hook up price. When its time for them to purchase they pull up the price guide and want to pay the lowest possible price. Then when they ready too sell or need to sell they pm you with gallery prices on there pieces. I have to say i respect him ...

Re: Vinyl toys prices plummeting??????

The "Items for Sale" section on here is filled with great stuff at great prices that no one is buying, and it's because people just can't justify spending $50-$100 on a vinyl toy in these times. I'd disagree, unlike 1-2 years ago I hardly ever see anything worth buying in the Items for Sa...

How much of hassle is it to get verified by Pest Control and what comes with the verification? Investment isn’t really a concern for me; I try not to look at anything I buy as one. For me it’s whether I like the art or not. Whether it's Kaws, Banksy or some unknown artist at an art show I'll buy it...

Investment? Need I remind you? .....way of the Beanie Babies..... All this is certainly NOT an investment guys. If you want investment buy securities or bonds. I would compare Dunnys to Beanie Babies, as most have previously, but I would not compare KAWS items selling for $500-$1,000 to Beanie Babi...

This work reminds me of the Family Guy episode with Stewie making clones of himself and Brian, which I believe were called B*tch Stewie and B*tch Brian.
